Magic Room

Neon tunnels, infinite mirrors, projections that swallow the room, including a moonlit graveyard scene. The lighting is deliberately dim and the projections move, but nothing jumps out at you. Family-friendly, not scary.

Questions, answered

How much is a ticket?

A ticket to the Museum of Illusions is 14,50 € online. The Big Fun Pass is 25,50 € online and 28,00 € at the door, and it opens all eight Big Fun museums. Duo Fun is 29,00 € online and 32,00 € at the door, and it covers all nine. A single Big Fun museum is sold at the door only, at 16,00 €. Children under 5 enter free. IVA of 10 % is included.

Can I visit all three rooms on one ticket?

Yes. The Big Fun Pass at 25,50 € covers all three rooms of Sweet Museum and the other five Big Fun museums at La Rambla de Sant Josep 88-94, eight museums in total.

Can I add the Museum of Illusions?

Yes. Duo Fun costs 29,00 € instead of 40,00 € and covers nine museums: the eight Big Fun museums plus the Museum of Illusions at Carrer del Pintor Fortuny 17, five minutes away on foot. You save 11,00 €.

What are your opening hours?

Every day from 11:00 to 21:00, with last entry at 20:30. We are closed on 25 December and 1 January. There are no time slots, so your ticket is valid at any time during opening hours.

How long does a visit take?

Between 45 and 90 minutes per museum, so around 2 to 3 hours for all three rooms.

Is it safe to bring a toddler?

Yes. All three rooms are family-friendly with no age limit, there are no loud effects and nothing jumps out. Children under 5 enter free. Pushchairs fit everywhere, since the museums are on one level.

Is the Magic Room scary?

No. The lighting is dim and the projections move around you, including a moonlit graveyard scene, but there are no jump scares and no strobe. Children who dislike the dark can walk through it quickly, and the other two rooms are brightly lit.

Can I take photos?

Yes, and that is the whole point. Every room is built to be walked into and photographed, and there is no extra charge for cameras.

How do I get there from Plaça de Catalunya?

Walk down La Rambla for about five minutes. We are at La Rambla de Sant Josep 88-94. The nearest metro is Liceu on line L3, two minutes away.

Can I buy a ticket at the door?

Yes, and it costs more: 16,00 € for one museum, 28,00 € for the Big Fun Pass and 32,00 € for Duo Fun. Buying online is cheaper and saves you the queue.

Do you offer group rates?

Yes, for schools, camps and companies. Write to es@agmo.cat with your dates and the size of your group.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Cards, Bizum, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe. Your mobile ticket arrives by email straight away.
